Introduction to Computers
In this first module of the training program we will cover some basic concepts including the basic subsystems that make up a typical computer system, what function each of these subsystem performs and how data is converted, processed and moves around a computer.
This module will look at Disk management for Windows 2000 Server. It will cover the basic priniciples of Disk Managment including the Difference between Basic and Dynamic Disks, the difference between the different volume types and the different types of Fault tolerance Schemes.
This module will cover the design of a directory structure including the basics of planning a domain structure, how a domain namespace is used in the Active Directory, the steps to planning an Organizational Unit and how to plan a site structure.
