Authoring is the process of using a software package also called an authoring tool to create courseware.
The two principle authoring tools that we use are Macromedia's Authorware and Flash
Authorware is used for training programs that will be delivered on CD-ROM or a Local Area Network
Flash is used on projects that need to be delivered on the Internet.
The programer using either of these authoring tools, combines text, graphics, video, audio and animations into a series of instructional interactions.
Sometimes, your project might need some custom programing, for example when customizing a Student Management System or creating special features and interactions.
